About Veerayatan Polytechnic
Veerayatan is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, which was established in 1973 in the state of Bihar by Acharya Shri Chandanaji with the blessings of Param Pujya Gurudev Shri Amar Muni ji Maharaj. It is run by a team of dynamic and dedicated Sadhvis with the support of Trustees, committee members, professional staff and committed volunteers whose work is performed without any regard to caste, creed, race, religion or socio-economic status.. Since its inception Veerayatan created an indelible impact in extending extraordinary contribution towards the alleviation of human suffering.
Veerayatan encompasses a wide spectrum of activities which include starting and running Schools, Hospitals and Vocational training for the under privileged section of the society, especially for the Rural population. Free medical checkups, Eye surgeries, Polio re-correction surgeries have been the part of our effort. Veerayatan has also actively initiated emergency rehabilitation programs in the aftermath of natural calamities like earthquakes, floods and tsunami.Veerayatan was among the first organization presented to provide necessary relief and rehabilitation following the 2001 earthquake in Kutch Gujarat, the tsunami in 2004 and during the Surat floods in 2006.

Veeraytan Institute
VEERAYATAN POLYTECHNIC is a self financed institute (SFI) approved by AICTE and affiliated to GTU . It is one of the premier technical institutes of high repute, in the Kutch region of Gujarat state. The institute was established in the year 2015.
The institute is well known for its visionary and transparent management, matured and stable leadership, energetic and well qualified, dedicated faculty, state of art infrastructure, high academic standards, academic discipline, and properly planned academic calendar. Also institute provides a platform for overall development of the student in the field of co-curricular, extracurricular, technical and sports activities.
The institute is proud to offer scholarships up to 50% to meritorious student in every year and also support the education of needy and poor students. On the other hand institute admits the students under management quota on purely merit basis without any sort of donation/ mal practices.
Our Inspiration
We first came to Kachchh in 2001 after the heart-rending earthquake that had left millions of people homeless and devastated. The tragedy was huge and instant assistance was required. We immediately initiated the task of relief and rehabilitation to alleviate their suffering. Realizing the need to reinstate education in the area and to bring the children out of the trauma, many stop-gap schools were set up by Veerayatan in the region and various vocational training centres were also initiated to empower the local people. To promote and support education at all levels, Veerayatan then established many permanent centres of learning in Kachchh.
Since we wanted to support the region on a long-term basis, we felt that technical & professional education could bring about the much-needed growth and employment for the local youth. To make the most out of the tremendous industrial development that the region of Kachchh saw post-earthquake, Veerayatan began the first Pharmacy degree college of Kachchh in the year 2005. Next, the colleges of Computer Applications and Business Administration were initiated in 2008.The journey of shaping up the better futures continued by initiating an extraordinary Engineering College in 2010. Our aim is not only imparting the best of education but also to develop wholesome personalities of the students. The atmosphere in the colleges encourage independent thinking and inspire students to contribute for the betterment of the society from a very young age.
The mission of Veerayatan is to empower people to enhance their talents and give back to strengthen the society. And this is what we aim for our students: Be powerful and make others powerful.

The Diploma holders play very important roles in industrial and economic developments of the country. They acquire specialized skill in the chosen areas and provide much needed supports in any engineering establishments. Besides, the Students with Diploma in Engineering also provide support services in various other sectors of economy including service sector.
It is well established that our country needs large number of skilled manpower to keep pace of current and future requirements. The Diploma holders are most sought after these days and they are quickly employed in any industry.
We, at VP, take every care to meet the level of aspirations of all students by providing best physical and academic infrastructure needed to make them competent technical professionals.
